About The Artist
I’m Teresa Milton, a potter with a passion for creating functional pottery with a modern flair. I believe there’s something truly special about using handmade pieces in everyday life, and my hope is that my work inspires people to appreciate the beauty and character that only handcrafted items can offer.
My journey with clay began in 1998 in St. Albert, Alberta. A year later, we moved to the Middle East and I found myself in a fully equipped studio in Dubai, where I had the rare opportunity to work independently and develop my own style. That creative freedom became the foundation of my artistic voice.
Travel has been a huge influence on my work. Seeing how people around the world design, use, and value their kitchenware has opened my eyes to new shapes, textures, and ideas. These experiences continue to inform how I approach form and function in my pottery today.
Now back in Canada, I work from a home studio where I experiment freely with glazes and techniques. I’m drawn to deep, rich colours and flowing finishes that make each piece one of a kind. Whether it’s a mug, a bowl, or a serving dish, my goal is to bring warmth, beauty, and purpose to your everyday rituals.
The creative process + studio space
Tucked within a quiet St. Albert home, the studio hums with the rhythm of wheel and hand—where earthy clay transforms into thoughtfully modern, timeless forms. These glimpses into the creative process reveal a space where tradition meets intention, and every vessel begins with quiet focus and ends in lasting beauty.
